Operating-cost intelligence for an electrified world.

PowerCost Lab is building a neutral way to understand what electrical devices cost to run—and what changes genuinely save money.

Our starting point

Most people see a monthly electricity bill but cannot connect it to individual appliances, habits, or purchase decisions. PowerCost Lab begins with free, global-first calculators and original decision guides funded by clearly separated display advertising.

Our long-term thesis

Useful calculators create the audience and initial advertising business. Underneath them, a privacy-safe Energy Cost Graph can gradually connect appliance models, rated consumption, observed consumption, climate, tariffs, usage patterns, and verified savings outcomes.

Neutrality matters

We intend to distinguish editorial calculations from advertising and commercial relationships. Future affiliate or referral revenue should never silently change a formula, suppress a cheaper option, or convert an estimate into a claim.

How this page was prepared

PowerCost Lab publishes this page to help readers make a specific electricity-cost decision. Worked figures are recalculated from the inputs shown, assumptions remain visible, and market facts are separated from user-entered estimates.
