Editorial and calculation policy

How PowerCost Lab reviews formulas, sources market-specific facts, distinguishes estimates from measurements, and keeps advertising separate from calculations.

Original utility before publication

Every indexable page must deliver functioning calculation or substantial decision guidance. We do not publish pages whose only change is a keyword, currency symbol, or country name. Automated systems may assemble verified inputs, but a human reviews each public launch page.

Sources and dates

Market-specific tariffs and regulations require an authoritative source and review date. When one national rate would be misleading, PowerCost Lab asks the user to enter the unit rate from the bill instead of presenting false precision.

Advertising independence

Advertising never changes a formula, default assumption, ranking, or recommendation. Ads remain visually distinct and are not placed beside calculator controls, private contribution workflows, or operator surfaces.
